This policy explains how girdharroll.in uses cookies and similar browser storage, and how we meet our obligations under the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Our store also uses your browser's local storage, which works similarly but is never sent to a server automatically. Both let the website remember things like what's in your cart.

Our pages also load web fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address in order to deliver the font files.
Your choices
When you first visit we ask for your consent to optional cookies. You can accept all, reject non-essential cookies, or choose categories. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer or the button above. You can also delete stored data through your browser settings; doing so will empty your cart and wishlist.
GDPR: our commitments
- Lawful basis: we rely on contract (to fulfil orders), legal obligation (tax records), legitimate interests (fraud prevention, site security) and consent (newsletters, optional cookies).
- Data minimisation: we only collect what is needed to deliver your order and support you.
- International transfers: our operations are in India. Where personal data of EEA/UK residents is transferred, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses with our service providers.
- Retention: as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Breach notification: we will notify affected users and the relevant authority without undue delay where required by law.
Your GDPR rights
If you are in the EEA or UK you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. To exercise these rights email support@girdharroll.in with the subject “GDPR request”; we respond within one month.
